I guess i've always wanted to play music. I grew up in the South Eastern United States steeped in the Memphis and Nashville sounds. It was a time when Motown filled the airwaves too. By the time I got my first guitar, Rock & Roll was the thing, and it became my thing. Playing in and going to see local bands only made me want to know more about what makes these songs tick. So when I got the chance I started taking lessons and going to school to understand the building blocks of what was in my head... Today I'm more interested in the spirit that makes a great song fly than the notes that make it up... I try more to channel than to construct... more to live with a smile than to look back longing... I try to play music, live, as much as i can... it's where the spirit lives... there's nothing else like it...
